Jesus was sick with your sicknesses
Isa. 53:10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin....
God not only laid our iniquities upon Jesus, but our diseases as well. Settle that in your heart. Jesus was made sick with our diseases. He was made sin for our sins.
In the mind of our Father God and in the mind of Jesus, our diseases and sins were borne by the Lord Jesus Christ. And if they were borne by Him, then it's wrong for us to bear them.
Let us get this simple truth get down into the hearts.
So how did this simple truth get down into their hearts? They accepted it as truth. They meditated on it. They spoke it over and over to themselves until it registered on the inside of them. Through the ministry of Christ upon the earth, God our Father revealed that it was His will to heal man physically.
In redemption, God broke the power of disease over man and set him free by laying disease and sickness upon Christ.
Confession: Because my disease and sickness were laid upon Christ, I am healed and free. I accept as truth that Jesus bore
Ephesians 5:1 Therefore be imitators of God (copy Him and follow His example), as well-beloved children (imitate their father.
Abraham believed something he couldn't see. Thomas refused to believe something he couldn't see. Thomas' name isn't listed in the gallery of the heroes of faith in Hebrews chapter 11.
But Abraham's name is.
Faith is believing you have what you prayed for for before you see it or have it.
It would be all right for God to call those things which be not as though they were, because He's God. But it would be wrong for me to do that????
If it's wrong for you to do it, it's wrong for God to do it! Children of the devil act like the devil. Children of God are to act like God. God is a faith God. And we are faith children of a faith God. Because we are faith children of a faith God, we are to act in faith. And faith calls those things which be not as though they were!
Confession: I am the faith child of a faith God. I imitate God, my Father. I follow His example as His well-beloved child. I act in faith. I call those things which be not as though they were. And they become.
John 20:25-29 The other disciples therefore said unto him (Thomas), We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
And after eight days...came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and BE NOT FAITHLESS, BUT BELIEVING.
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: BLESSED ARE THEY THAT HAVE NOT SEEN, AND YET HAVE BELIEVED.
Thomas' faith was head faith. And Jesus did not commend Thomas for it. Jesus said, "You have believed because you have seen." Anyone can have that kind of faith, whether he be saint or sinner. That's head faith. Head faith is believing what your physical senses tell you.
Jesus commended heart faith. He said, "...blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed" (v.29). To believe with the heart means to believe apart from what your physical body or physical senses may indicate.
The physical man believes what he sees with his physical eyes, hears with his physical ears, or feels with his physical senses. But the heart, on the other hand, believes in the Word of God regardless of what the physical senses say.
Confession: I am not faithless; I am believing. I believe according to what God's Word says, regardless of what I see, hear, or feel. AMEN
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth
Mark 11:23 And shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe.
Faith, real faith, Bible faith, scriptural faith, is of the heart, not the head.
What does it mean to believe with the heart? What is the heart of man?
Well, it's not the physical organ that pumps blood through your body and keeps you alive. You couldn't believe with your physical heart any more than you could believe with your physical hand, eye, ear, nose, or foot!
Consider how we use the term heart today. When we talk about the heart of a tree, we mean the center, the very core of the tree. When we talk about the heart of a subject, we mean the most important part of that subject, the very center of it, the main part around which the rest revolves.
Likewise, when God speaks of man's heart, He is speaking about the main part of the man the very center of man's being - his spirit or his or her conscience, which is your spirit man!
That is why it is so important to know what your Bible says and to understand it.
Confession: With my heart I believe God. I do not doubt in my heart. I believe in my heart.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him"
God demands faith of us.
Now, if God demands that we have faith when it is impossible for us to have faith, then we have a right to challenge His justice. But if God places in our hands the means whereby faith can be produced, then the responsibility is up to us as to whether we have faith or not.
God has given us His Word, and He has told us that, Romans.10:17 faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
Most Christians feed their bodies three hot meals a day, their spirits one cold snack a week, and then wonder why they are so weak in faith."
Confession: I will please my Heavenly Father. I will walk in faith. I will feed my faith regularly on the faith food God has put into my hands.
Isa 55:6 Seek the LORD while you can find Him. Call on Him now while He is near.
Isa 55:7 Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the LORD that He may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for He will forgive generously.
Heb 10:23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep His promise.
Heb 10:24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.
Heb 10:25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.
Heb 10:26 Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins.
The 4th Comment says “Remember the Sabbath and keep it Holy (Meaning go to your place of worship
It is your obligation to seek the Lord. It is your obligation to go to church, In fact the writer on Hebrews say do not neglect going to church.
My brothers and sisters you are not going to be a strong Christian without attending church and going to Bible studies regularly.
Jesus Himself went to church and taught the word.
Get excited about the Word and assembling with like believers.
It is a Great way to start off the week.
2Chronicles 7:12 And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.
13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
16 For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
If my people will pray and seek God’s face then God promises to heal their land.
I want Revival to come to Va. But it will not happen until God’s people unit, fast and pray.
Where are God’s people that will pray? I want to see our Nation healed, How about you? I want a change in our Nation for morality, how about you? Will this scripture indicates it won’t happen until God’s children pray and seek His face and turn from their wicked ways.
Come on church let’s come together and pray pray pray, And see God hand move on our church and in Va. Let’s see people come to Him and get BA. It will not happen until the church prays.
How about you? We are all called to pray,
Confession: I am a prayer. I set aside time to pray for my church and my Nation. I will join forces with others to pray and make a change.
Ps. 138:2...For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
So much of the time, we accept the testimony of our physical senses instead of accepting the testimony of God's Word. What does God's Word say? Instead of stopping to ask ourselves that question, we let our physical senses dominate us.
Now you can ask that question on any subject. For instance, what does God's Word say about sickness? Does God's Word have anything to say about sickness? Certainly it does!
Don't spend all your time talking about how sick you are and what your symptoms are and what the doctor said about it. If you keep talking like that, you will stay sick.
In the face of sickness, stop and ask yourself, "What does God's Word say about this disease?" Matthew 8:17, "That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses."
What are you going to do with that? Believe it and confess it! And if you really believe it in your heart and confess it with your mouth, the reality of it will be created in your life.
It doesn't happen overnight. You have to continually practice God's Word for it to work. You may have to confess some scriptures for a while, but if you continue and don't give up, you'll see the reality of it. Think and speak the word, speak healthy and think healthy
Confession: What does God's Word say about my situation? I search and find out. Then I believe it and confess it. I continually practice God's Word. I continually give it first place in my life.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God
Notice that the faith you are saved by is not of yourselves. In other words, it's not a natural, human faith. It's the gift of God!
That agrees withRomans 12:3, which states that, "God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Salvation is a gift you cannot earn it. Good moral miss heaven all the time, it’s receiving Jesus as Lord that’s saves us.
Yet Christians will say, "I just don't have any faith."
I always answer by saying, "Then why don't you get saved? Saved people have faith! You can't be saved without faith."
All believers have faith. The Bible says they do! But many Christians don't realize they do - and they're not using the faith they have. By continually talking about how they don't have faith, they take sides against God, against the Bible, and against themselves, without recognizing what they are doing.
God's Word is God speaking. God and His Word are one: If God's Word says something that is God saying it. And God's Word says that God has dealt to you the measure of faith. It has to be the God-kind of faith because that's the only kind of faith God has!
Confession: I am saved! And I was saved by grace through faith the gift of God! I have a measure of the God-kind of faith! I have a measure of the kind of faith which created the world in the beginning! I have a measure of mountain-moving faith!
