In a vision Kenneth Hagin had in 1958, Jesus appeared to him and said, "If anybody, everywhere will take these four steps. or put these four principles into operation, they will always receive whatever they want from me." The steps Jesus gave him are these:
1) Say it
2) do it
3) Receive it
4) Tell it
For the next three days I will explain each step. and give you a confession.
Step one is to SAY IT
Confession: I have what I say. I speak positively and I receive accordingly. What I say is my faith speaking. And what I say makes me whole and well.
1 Timothy 5:22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.
In writing to Timothy, Paul said, "Lay hands suddenly on no man...." If you read the whole context of this verse, Paul is not talking about laying hands on someone to do the person harm; he's talking about the doctrine of the laying on of hands.
He is instructing Timothy not to be quick to lay hands on people and pray for them. I believe it is important that people are ready to receive when hands are laid on them.
I remember a woman who brought her daughter to me to be healed. The daughter was facing major surgery, and the woman wanted me to pray for her. Well, I endeavor to keep my spirit open to the Spirit of God, so before the mother said anything, I knew on the inside of me that the daughter didn't believe in divine healing and was just coming to please her mother. So I said to the two of them, "Well, let's just sit down and talk a little bit first."
Oh, no," the mother said. "I already told you. I got up early this morning and drove two hundred and forty miles. After you lay hands on my daughter and pray, I'm going to take her back home. I want to get back before our church service tonight."
Well, I don't want to be mean or ugly about it," I said. "But if that's the way it is, why don't you just go ahead, load her up, and take her back. Your daughter doesn't believe in divine healing, so there's really no point in me praying for her under the present circumstances."
The woman looked sort of startled and said, "Well, if that's the way you feel about it."
I told her that it had nothing to do with how I felt about it, but I knew there was no use for me to pray for her daughter under those circumstances. So the woman and her daughter agreed to sit down and talk with me.

From Pastor Larry: So many times we are quick to lay hands on people before they are ready. We have to preach, teach and then lay hands on people, if they believe. We cannot pray for people to be healed if they don’t believe or are ready. People we have to do like the Bible says they have to hear and then be healed
Confession: I believe in divine healing and keep myself ready to receive when hands are laid on me. Therefore, no man will lay hands suddenly on me, because I am always ready to receive from God.
Proverbs 18:20 A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.
You won't get the blessings of God just because you believe. You don't get saved, healed, or get answers to prayer just because you believe.
Most Christians think that is the case, but it isn't what the Bible teaches. The Bible teaches that you must believe and you must say something.
For example, in order to be saved, Romans 10:9-10 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Notice it doesn't say you'll be saved just because you believe. The very next verse says, "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Jesus didn't conclude Mark 11:23 by saying you'd have whatsoever you believed. He concluded it by saying, "He shall have whatsoever he saith."
Faith is always expressed in words! The words that you speak not just on Sunday, in church, or when you pray, but the words you speak in your everyday life, at home, with your friends, and on your job determine what you have in life.
People will say one thing in faith and turn around later and confess something that is not in faith and cancel out their faith confession. Confess the word no matter what it feels like or looks like. Don't let any negative confession come out of your mouth.
Confession: I purpose that I shall speak only according to God's Word!
1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.
I may be in the world, but I am not of the world. I am of God. My citizenship is in Heaven. And while I am in this world, I have the Greater One living in me. "Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
Who is in the world? The devil. He's called the god of this world in Second Corinthians 4:4.
What is in the world? Sin. But the Greater One in me is greater than sin. The Greater One conquered sin.
What else is in the world? Sickness. It's not of God. It doesn't come from Heaven. There's no sickness up there. Sickness is of this world. But the Greater One in me is the Healer.
What else is in the world? Trouble. Adverse circumstances. Seeming impossibilities. But when I've faced such things, I've just remembered who is on the inside of me and what the Bible says. I didn't even have to pray about it. I just looked that circumstance right in the face and laughed as I said, "If I don't make it over you, I'll make it around you. If I don't make it around you, I'll make it through you, because the Greater One is in me!" Even while I laughed, that circumstance ran off and hid!
The devil is not in control of my body, I am in Christ. No weapon formed against me will prosper. Get mad at the devil and take your place seated at the right hand of God.
Confession: I am born of God. And by releasing my faith in words through my mouth, I overcome the world!
Proverbs 10:13, 24:3-4 In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found. Through wisdom is a house built; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
Mark 11:23-24 Says that spiritual things are created by words. Even natural, physical things are created by words! God, who is a Spirit, said, "Let there be an earth," and there was an earth. Jesus said, "Whosoever shall say…shall have whatsoever he saith."
Atmospheres are created with words. For example, if you go into a room where fish has been fried, the fish smell is still in the atmosphere. And if you go into a room where harsh words have been spoken, they also linger in the atmosphere. The air is heavy with them.
Children brought up in an atmosphere of wrong words become warped. They fail in life, because right words were not spoken to them.
Why is it that some children grow up strong and go out in life's fight and win? It's because the right kind of words were spoken in their home! Words make children love an education. Words bring children to church. Every child should grow up in a good church it will always give them and thoughts to return to when trouble comes. Parents need to support that by attending also. The apple does not fall from the tree. Worship together, pray together. It is so powerful when dads say prayers with their children at night.
Confession: I create the very atmosphere around me with my words. I speak words of wisdom, God's words. I speak words of faith, God's words. I speak words of love, God's words. And the chambers round about me are filled with precious and pleasant riches.
Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
Words bless or words curse.
Words heal or words make us sick.
Words that we hear in the morning will linger with us throughout the day. Wives and husbands need to realize that a biting, stinging word in the morning will rob their companion of efficiency the whole day long. But a loving, tender word, a little prayer word, will fill that loved one with music, and lead them into victory.
Parents and children need to realize that the home atmosphere is a product of words.
Learn to make words work for you. Learn to fill words with power that cannot be resisted. How do you do that? By filling your words with faith and love. As you know what you sow you will reap and not only you but your love ones. So make sure you are not sowing wrong words or seeds. God will judge and you will reap accordingly.
Confession: My words work for me. I fill them with a power that cannot be resisted. I fill my words with faith and love. My words bless. My words heal. My words lead my loved ones into victory. My words charge the atmosphere of my home with faith and love!
Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Speak words of life over your children. Don't believe the worst about them no matter how it seems they are headed. Never tell them they won't amount to anything or end up in jail. Believe the best and speak their future by faith. Surround them with positive words of faith and love.
Train them up in the Lord and they will always come back to Him. Then if they get off track, they will realize where they need to get back to when things start going wrong for them. That's why it is so important for Dad and Mom to be in Church, praying together reading the Bible at home setting the example for their children. Make your home a safe place for your children.
Confession: Life is in the power of my tongue, and I will minister life with it. I speak words of life!
1 Timothy 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
If your profiting is to appear to all, then it is to show! Why is godliness profitable? Why is living for God, being God's child, walking in fellowship with God, keeping God's commandments, profitable?
It is because God has made some promises to His faithful children. Notice the word "promise" in yesterday's text: "having promise of the life that now is" (1 Tim. 4:8). God has made us promises in this life. Our profiting is because of these promises.
And when our profiting (which is due to God's promises) appears to all, we are able to show the world there is a God in the Church - just as when Israel was walking with God, she could show the earth "there is a God in Israel" (1 Sam. 17:46).
Confession: I will meditate upon God's promises and give myself wholly to them, that my profiting may appear to all. I live the best, I drive the best, I live in the best, I walk in divine health, My marriage is strong.
1 Timothy 4: 8 Bodily exercise profits little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
Some people would have you believe that godliness - living for God, being born again, walking in fellowship with the Lord - has no profit in this life. They think we must simply endure life with all its ups and downs, struggles and trials, always bearing in mind that "this life will soon be over."
I'm glad Paul gave us a balanced viewpoint by saying that godliness is not only profitable "over yonder" in the next life, but it has promise of "the life that now is."
As sinners, we were bankrupt, but God had mercy on us, and He sent Jesus to redeem us. Jesus came not only to save us from our sins, but to live within us (Col. 1:27). And Jesus wants us to bring as much glory to His Name, and to pay as rich dividends to Him as possible in this life. Instead of saying that godliness is a hindrance to success, the Apostle Paul says the exact opposite in our text scripture.
It doesn't cost to serve God - it pays!
Also Paul didn't say that exercise doesn't profit. He says in profits a little.
So take care of yourself and God will take care of the rest.
Confession: I live a godly life. I am born again. I live for God. I walk in fellowship with the Lord. This is profitable for me - here on earth in the life that now is, and also in the life which is to come!
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind
Today's text calls fear a spirit, and it states definitely that the spirit of fear does not come from God. Today's faith thought is a confession you can use to successfully resist fear when it attempts to come upon you. Fear comes in different degrees. Worry is a type of fear., Doubt is a type of fear. Frequent sleepless nights is usually a sign of worry or great concern. The steps of a righteous person are ordered of the Lord.
Confession: Fear, I resist you, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. In His mighty Name, I resist you. I refuse to fear; I refuse to be afraid. It is written in His Word that He hath not given me the spirit of fear; But of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. I no longer have the spirit of fear. I have the spirit of love. I have the spirit of power. I have the spirit of a sound mind.
