John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
There is only one way to heaven and that is to believe in Jesus as the Son of God.
It is up to you and I to let people know that Jesus loves them and wants them to go the heaven when their time comes. But how will they know if you and I don’t tell them?
It is our love obligation as sons and daughters of God to let them know what we know!
Love and care for people enough to let them know there is a God that loves them so much that He sent His son to the earth to die for them. Jesus is the only way to heaven, He is the open door.
Take time to pray and ask God who you should witness to today. We as Christians have been commanded to go into the world and tell the Good News of Christ.
Confession: I will go and tell other about my Jesus and how God saved me just in time Amen
Philippians 4:7-8 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things"
Many people want what verse seven talks about, but they don't want to do what verse six says to do in order to get it. In order to get what verse seven says, you have to practice verse six, which we studied yesterday.
People who worry and fret, continually think on the wrong side of life. They continually talk unbelief. If something isn't true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of a good report, then don't think about it. Make it meet all these qualifications. Some things you hear may be true, but they may not be pure and lovely - so don't think about them.
To do so is to give place to the devil, who is always seeking to enter your thought life. That's why the Bible says, "Think on these things."
Meditate and feed on the New Testament that are written to the Church. Through them, God speaks to His Church.
Start your week off with Jesus, Hopefully you heard a good life changing message at church today. Tami preached on putting the devil in the Hot seat. Let’s keep in there Amen
Confession: I do not fret or have any anxiety about anything. Therefore, the peace of God keeps my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. I think on those things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of a good report!
Romans. 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
There is only one way to grow in faith! That is by hearing and hearing
Healing is in God's plan of redemption, so it belongs to all of us. And faith for obtaining healing comes the same way that faith for obtaining salvation comes - by hearing the Gospel (the Word of God) preached.
Acts 14 tells us about the first missionary journey of Barnabas and Paul. It tells us where they went and what they did. Verse 7 says, "And there they preached the gospel."
Let's continue reading.
"And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked: The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked."
This man was definitely healed on his own faith. He was not healed because Paul was an apostle, or by any special manifestation of the Spirit. He was healed because he had faith.
Where did he get the faith to be healed? Did he have faith to be healed because God just sort of flew over him like a bird and dropped faith down in his heart? No! He heard Paul speak.
There is a connection between hearing the Word preached or taught and having faith to be healed.
He got faith to be healed from what he heard Paul speak. What did Paul speak? According to verse 7, he preached the Gospel or the Word of God.
The devil will attack your body, but your faith will bring healing and health to your body
Confession: I receive faith to be healed by hearing the Gospel, the Word of God. And then I act on my faith!
Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Do you want to do something great in life? Don’t you want to do your best at all things?
Take time to meditate in the Word of God. Start out with just 10 or 15 mins a day. And build from there.
Hopefully I am helping you to spend just a few minutes each day in the Word and giving you something to meditate on each day.
The word of God cleanses your thinking, gives you hope, the word of God is encourages you to be all you can be and more. Spend time in with God in His Word and let it change your life.
Confession: I take time each day to meditate in God’s Holy Word
