1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
What are the works of the devil? The works of the devil include sin and sickness. Jesus was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil. Luke gave us a summary of Jesus' ministry in the book of Acts:
Acts 10:38 Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil .
Sickness does not come from God. Sickness does not come from Heaven. There isn't any sickness up there. No. Sickness comes from the devil.
It doesn't have to specifically say h-e-a-l-i-n-g, either. I see physical healing in almost every page of the Bible. For instance, in what we call the Lord's Prayer, Jesus said, "After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."
Can’t you see healing right there, because there isn't any sickness in Heaven? Jesus said for us to pray that God's will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. If you're sick, you'd have to get healed for His will to be done.
Healing is all though the Bible. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. And He gave us the same Authority he has. Lay hands on the sick and they WILL get better.
Confession: Sickness doesn't come from Heaven. There isn't any sickness up there. Healing comes from Heaven. And healing belongs to me!
